Overview

Wiki.js has built-in support for editing pages in real-time with other users. See edits happen live and view the cursors from everyone in the editor.

Requirements

• The "Allow Collaborative Editing" option must be turned on in the site settings (under the Administration Area -> General).
• If using a reverse proxy, ensure web sockets are allowed to go through.

Usage

1. To get started, either...
   1. Create a new page and save it to the location of your choice.
   2. Edit an existing page.
2. Share the page URL with other users.
3. Each user click the Edit button on the page.
4. Start editing! All connected users will be shown as avatars in the top-right section of the editor. The user avatar pulses during edits.
5. One of the user clicks Save Changes to commit the changes.

Important

Ensure at least one user save the changes at the end. Otherwise any edits will be lost!
