Contributing

We are always looking for translation contributors to make Wiki.js accessible in as many language as possible!
You can join our CrowdIn project below to gain access to the translation tools. No coding required!

Adding a language

If you can't find your language in the list, contact us on Discord or open a discussion on GitHub and we'll add it!

Update Workflow

• New / updated translations can take up to an hour to become available to download in your Wiki.js installation.

Via the Administration Area

• From the Administration Area Locale page, click the Fetch Locales button to get the latest localization updates.
• Clear your browser cache and reload the page to load the new strings. If you're using a reverse proxy, it may be caching the old strings until the cache expires or is purged manually.

Note

Localization updates are automatically downloaded every 24h.

Manual Installation

If your Wiki.js doesn't have access to the internet, you can load translation updates manually via the Import from file... button.

The source files can be downloaded from the requarks/wiki-locales repository.
